Dr. Janine McKay
Dr. Janine McKay holds a Diploma in Human Performance from Langara College and a Bachelor degree in Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia. She graduated with clinic honors and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. McKay is certified by the NSCA and CSEP as a strength and conditioning specialist and an exercise physiologist.
Her professional experience includes working with a variety of individuals from the beginner to elite athlete, weekend warriors, retirees, first time exercisers, domestic engineers, desk jockeys, manual laborers and anything in between. Her primary demographic targets the active population.
Currently Dr McKay is completing her Masters of Science in Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia with a focus on sports rehabilitation and sport conditioning. Dr. McKay is also a resident in the sports science residency program at the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences.
Dr. McKay strongly believes that inter-collaborative care is vital to an individual’s plan of management in order to deliver the best multi-model approach to treatment. She has a diverse clinical approach by combining a multitude of training and techniques systems to achieve treatment goals.
